Professor Carolyn Weiniger is Director of Obstetric Anesthesia in the Department of Anesthesia, Critical Care and Pain Medicine at the Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center, Tel Aviv, Israel and Full Professor in the Gray Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Tel Aviv University, Israel. Professor Weiniger is  Academic Director of the Helmsley Center for Medical Simulations at the  Gray Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, and Co-Director of Tel Aviv Anesthesia Simulation Team (TAST) She serves as a Member of the WFSA Education Committee, and Member of the Research Committee of the European Society of Anaesthesiologists and Intensive Care (ESAIC). In the past few years, Professor Weiniger has developed and run Anesthesia Games, including Train the Trainer courses, at Anesthesia Medical Conferences, together with a diverse global team of Anesthesiologists and Intensive Care physicians. Anesthesia Games were first held at Euroanaesthesia in 2022 and more recently as World Anesthesia Games at the World Congress of Anesthesia (WCA) 2024 and 2026.

Dr. Ruth Shaylor is an anesthesiologist and clinical educator who has been transforming medical training through the use of serious games and gamified learning since 2022. By integrating escape-room dynamics and quiz-show formats into specialized fields like obstetric and pediatric anesthesia, she creates immersive, high-engagement environments for mastering complex clinical scenarios. She has led game sessions at conferences on three continents and also runs game-making workshops to teach the next generation how to play.  She currently leads global initiatives such as the World Anesthesia Games and passionately believes that interactive, "fun" medical education should be accessible to healthcare professionals worldwide.

Rodrigo Rubio MD is an anesthesiologist and simulation educator from Mexico City, Mexico. He  is Past President of the Latin American Federation for Simulation in Healthcare (FLASIC). Dr. Rubio also holds a Certificate in Game Design from MIT xPRO and served as Vice Chair of the Education Committee of the World Federation of Societies of Anaesthesiologists (WFSA) from 2024 to 2026. He has focused his work on integrating serious games and simulation into anesthesia education. He has designed educational games  for programs such as VAST (Vital Anesthesia Simulation Training) and airway management cpurses, ranging from tabletop games to video games. He coordinated the serious games activities at meetings of the Mexican College of Anesthesiology, the Mexican Federation of Anesthesiology, and the Latin American Congress of Anesthesia (CLASA) 2025. He also collaborated in the World Anesthesia Games at the World Congress of Anesthesiologists in Singapore and Marrakech as part of an international team promoting interactive approaches to medical education.
